USA Volleyball is the National Governing Body in the United States for indoor and beach volleyball. 

It is also the only organization so recongized by the US Olympic Committee and the Federation Internationale de Volleyball (FIVB)

Security, Safety and Background Checks

~USAV provides extensive safety and security check in which every coach, official, team rep, or club staff member that has contact with youth-level players is required to have a a bi-annual background screening.  USA is the leader in protecting young participants.

~USAV sets standards for facilities and is proactive in teaching safety issues to players, coaches, club directors, officials and event organizers to ensure the safest environment possible.

~USAV members benefit from having a comprehensive insurance package provided to them as part of their registration fees.

Parent Involvement

~Opportunities exist for parents to be involved in the Regional Volleyball Association governance structure and to make positive changes in the sport at the national level.

USAV Volleyball Sets the Standards

~USAV sets the standards for governance and specifics that every region in the country meet specific criteria to remain in good standing.  USAV meetings, including it's Boards meetings, are open to the public.

~USAV has 36 Affliate Organizations supporting its mission, all who are eligible to participate in the annual USAV Congress in May.
